Beetroot juice is one of the healthiest juices and has many benefits; most notably, lowering high blood pressure. According to a new study published by the Journal of Applied Physiology, beetroot juice has been found to make us more active.
Researchers at the University of Exeter discovered that people who drank beetroot juice were able to exercise up to 16% longer in high intensity exercises, and 12% more in a low intensity exercise such as walking. Exercisers used less oxygen due to the effects that beetroot juice has on your body. It’s found to dilate blood vessels which reduces blood pressure and allows more blood to flow.
